I’m Kevin Boles and I have the wonderful privilege of serving as the Minister of Music of First Baptist Church, Pineville. I am responsible for all of the music and worship ministries of the church, as well as planning and leading our worship services each Sunday. I came to know Christ as a fourth grader at VBS, singing in the VBS choir! So music has been an important part of my life for a long time. I love to hear and see people sing and respond to God in worship. I believe music should connect musicians and worshippers to Christ. At First Baptist Church, we seek to be intentional about connecting people with the Word of God through music.
My wife Judy and I met when I was a student at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. She grew up in First Baptist Church there. I sang in the choir. The rest is history!
We have three children - Katie, Nathan (his wife is Justina), and Bailey - and two grandchildren - Eleanor and Leland.
