Our Music Minister Search Committee recommends Robbie Briggs as our next Minister of Music. Robbie’s ministry objective is to equip and disciple the saints to become true worshipers and ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Robbie and Ellen have been married since 2006 and have three boys, Will (11), Luke (9), and Nate (8). The family lives in Forest Hill where the boys are homeschooled. For the last several years, the Briggs boys have been involved in our Upward Basketball ministry, and Robbie has been a coach. Robbie has also been active in The Louisiana Baptist Singing Men as a singer and instrumentalist and has often helped other ministers of music with special events as a part of the band or in other ways as needed. He also leads music for revivals, camps, mission trips, and retreats.
Robbie brings to us twelve years of full-time ministry experience as well as many years of part-time and volunteer service in local churches. He plays numerous instruments, loves working with a choir, and is excited about continuing to grow the music ministry of our church.
