The following missions/organizations are listed below to learn about and pray for as well as do hands-on projects during this year.


Acteens — girls, 7 - 12 grades

Sunday evenings, 6:30-7:15 p.m. in Room 202

Girls in Action — girls, 1ST - 6th   grade

Wednesday evenings, 6:30-7:15 p.m. in Room 204

Royal Ambassadors — boys, 1ST - 6th   grade

Wednesday evenings, 6:30-7:15 p.m. in Room 205

Mission Friends — pre K and kindergarten

Wednesday evenings, 6:30-7:15 p.m. in Room 107

Women on Mission

First Thursday of each month, 9:30 a.m. in the Life Enrichment Center - Contact: Beverly O'Reagan

Missionary Residence

Located at 615 Lallah Street in Pineville, this house serves as the home-away-from-home for furloughing missionary families. Contact:  Carolyn Weber


Each of the following missions' emphasis has a time of in-gathering for offerings and a week of prayer


Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions (each March)

Georgia Barnette State Missions Offering (each September) 

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions (each December)


Members of FBC Pineville are active in serving God by touching the lives of others and by meeting needs

Junior and senior high students participate in activities such as attending student camp, helping at the Main Street Mission and doing yard work and fix-ups for senior adults. Contact:

Women on Mission

Ladies participate in hands-on ministries such as serving lunch at the Manna House, making soup for home-bound members and collecting items for Hannah's Plea. Contact: Beverly O'Reagan

Main Street Baptist Mission
The mission seeks to meet the spiritual and physical needs of those in our community with weekly worship services and Sunday School as well as a food pantry, clothes closet and Wednesday night supper. Contact: Pastor Sam West

GPS (Go, Pray, Share)
This door-to-door visitation program sends FBCP members out into the community to connect with people.  Contacts: Ed & Linda Futch

ESL (English as a Second Language)
This class is designed to help internationals learn conversational English skills. Contact: Christy Nation

International Sunday School
Sunday mornings, 9 a.m.
This class offers a time for Bible study and fellowship for internationals. Contacts: Lynn & June Hudgens

International Thanksgiving Supper

Friday night before Thanksgiving in Fellowship Hall
This 30-year-old tradition brings international friends together with church members for an evening of food and music from various countries. Church members are asked to bring dishes of American food. Contact: Grace Lee

Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Wednesday night before Thanksgiving at the Pineville Community Center on Main Street Deacons and church members serve a hot traditional turkey and dressing dinner to those in need in our community.  Contact: Gary McKay

Operation Christmas Child

Boys and girls from our church collect items to fill shoe boxes for the Samaritan’s Purse project that brings Christmas and God’s love to children around the world. Contact: Amy Campbell


Angel Tree

Part of FBC’s annual White Christmas, Angel Tree provides gifts of clothes and toys to the children of Main Street Baptist Mission. Church members, families or Sunday School classes select an angel from the tree and purchase gifts for that child. On the in-gathering day, participants bring their gifts wrapped in white to the altar. Contact: Pastor Sam West

Baptist Mission Center

The center is the home of our association, North Rapides Baptist Association, and the hub of various ministries for Central Louisiana. Contact: Rev. Robert Daniel
